Summer lawn treatment

Now that summer is here it’s time to give your lawn a summer feed. What the grass needs now is different to what it needed earlier in the year. Many company’s put down high nitrogen fertilisers which forces the grass to grow lots of leaf growth at the expense of root development leading to a weak disease susceptible plant. What is needed now is a good balance of slow steady leaf growth, strong root growth and toughening against disease.
